Wordless{ish} Wednesday: Ruari's 19 months old! Whoa!

{Wow. I cannot believe how old you are now! I've already started planning some little birthday ditties for your 2 year bday! What? Yeah.}

{So... you are pretty much the silliest baby EVER! It's so crazy seeing your personality form! You are one funny girl (not too surprising since your mama and dada are super silly ;D). One thing I really need to stop doing... is giggling when you fart. It's so hard not to laugh (yeah, I'm 28 and think farts are funny :/). The thing is... you now laugh each time you burp or fart. Ooops! :D}

{You are talking up even more of a storm this month! You're pretty much a copy-cat (gotta watch my potty-mouth) and repeat almost anything we say. You can name pretty much all of your body parts, know the names of a few favorite people and animals, you know your fruits, and the list goes on....}

{Some favorite things you love right now: Doggies (always), Horses, pacifier (addicted), Bernie (your stuffed Bernese Mountain dog that you call, "Buh-bee"), strollers or anything you can push with wheels, Cozy's (aka blankets), going on walks, shoes, Dora the freakin' Explorer (REALLY addicted to this), meltdowns I mean... getting into things and then me telling you no, you're 2 cats and Angus, my mom's cat Inky, Water, Nana's (banana), CoCo (Kelsey's daughter: Coral) and more.}

{You're pretty tall for your age, average weight, and with sort of a big head (in measurement... you're not stuck-up. :D). We have made absolutely no progress into starting potty-training... I set you on the potty and you pretty much freaked out... keep practicing! You do know when you poop... I know this because you announce it to me every time (like you did before you pooped in the tub the other night).}

{As hard as being a mom can be sometimes... I'm absolutely in love with you. I tear up thinking of how much I love you. Love you boo head!}

Braedon's belated 5th birthday...

See that photo below... don't let that cute smile from Kamilah fool you! She managed to lick the frosting off of about 10 cupcakes. Yeah... she did. Naughty! ;D

Braedon's birthday party was over 2 weeks ago now... BUT, I'm JUST getting to posting the photos. Happy 5th Birthday Braedon! Braedon is my good friend Kelsey's son.

NYFW: Marc Jacobs 2010

Estoy organizando mi fiesta de cumpleaños que es el próximo sábado.
La temática de la fiesta es en Blanco y Negro. Los invitados deben venir vestidos con esos colores bien contrarrestados.
Para la decoración del lugar estuve pensando en globos blancos y negros con gas helio para que estén flotando en el techo del salón.
Vajilla monocromática, servilletas y por supuesto una torta haciendo juego.
Voy a armar el lugar con pocas mesas, más que nada sillones y puff armando mini livings para que quede la pista libre y poder bailar.
El salón dispone de luces de colores y nuestra conocida luz negra!
Para resaltar los blancos de las prendas y accesorios con los que decore.
Prometo dejarles imagenes de la decoración cuando esté terminada.
Se aceptan ideas!!
Voy a correr esta semana, ir de compras, cocinar la comida, comprar algunos bocadillos y otras cosas así que no voy actualizar el blog finalizando la semana, pero una vez que pase la fiesta de cumpleaños nos ponemos al día con todas las noticias!

I am planning my birthday party next Saturday.
The theme of the party is in Black and White. Guests should come dressed in those colors or reversed.
I was thinking for decoration of the place black and white balloons with helium gas to be floating on the ceiling of the room.
Monochrome tableware, napkins, and cake with the colours.
I'm going to decorate the place with few tables, chairs, puffs and livings mini to leave the track free and able to dance.
The living room has colored lights and our well-known black light!
To highlight the white clothes and accessories to decorate.
I promise to show you pictures of the decoration when completed.
Ideas are welcome!
I will run this week, shopping, cooking the food, buy some snacks and other things so I not going update the blog to ending this week, but once you pass the birthday party we put it up to date with all the news!

Quisiera hacer un resumen como había presentado el Bafweek pero no puedo dejar de pasarles un adelanto. En este caso la colección que presentó Marc Jacobs.

I would like to summarize as submitted by the BAFWEEK but I can not pass an advance. In this case the collection that Marc Jacobs presented.

Marc Jacobs presenta un homenaje a los años setenta.
El colorido, la línea optimismista está llena de actitud y se inspiró en una fiesta celebrada por Naomi Campbell en la Costa Azul francesa. Jacobs dijo que los vestidos largos usados por las chicas en la fiesta fueron su inspiración. The New York Dolls y la esencia de Yves Saint Laurent son otras referencias claras en la nueva línea.

Esta temporada se trata de color, con naranja, morado, verde y oro. La puesta colorido en escena contrasta con algunos matices oscuros en el diseño.

Marc Jacobs presents a tribute to the seventies.
The colorful, optimismist line is full of attitude and was inspired by a party held by Naomi Campbell on the French riviera. Jacobs said that the long dresses worn by the girls at the party inspired him. The New York Dolls and the Yves Saint Laurent essence are other clear references in the new line.

This season it's all about color, with orange, purple, green and gold. The colorful mise-en-scene contrasts with some dark undertones in the design.

And apparently, you're also using your feminine wiles to spread your love for neutering! While championing that cause may incur the wrath of my wittle Monte-ster, you definitely score points with me, in part because I fundamentally agree with the practice but largely because I fundamentally agree with the art direction in that ad campaign.
