Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds was what WWII should have been. Some say it was too long -- that's ridiculous. I was riveted throughout. This is my favorite Tarantino movie (and I'm a Tarantino fan), and it's up there with Defiance and Munich as my favorite WWII/post-WWII movie.
