Después de línea de montaña en invierno, D & G nos trae una línea de Primavera-Verano inspirada en jardines, en una oda a las flores, la ingenuidad y la pulcritud. Cuadros Vichy y estampados florales son las principales características de esta nueva colección.

After their winter mountain theme, D&G bring us a SS11 line inspired by gardens, in an ode to flowers, naivety and neatness. Vichy paintings and floral prints are key features of this new collection.

Prada presenta una colección caleidoscópica que es audaz y verdaderamente única. Miuccia está seguro de una cosa: no sigue las tendencias, las crea. La nueva línea es minimalista, lleno de color y gráficos.

Prada present a kaleidoscopic collection that's daring and truly unique. Miuccia is sure about one thing: she doesn't follow trends, she creates them. The new line is minimalist and full of color and graphics.

Jil Sander

Jil Sander presentó uno de las más aplaudidas líneas de la temporada, una lección sobre el color y la confección. Tonos neón que contrastan con blanco y negro, y los vibrantes rosa, naranja, amarillo y azul.
Jil Sander presented one of the most applauded lines of the season, which was a lesson on color and tailoring. Neon tones contrast with white and black, and vibrant shades of pink, orange, yellow and blue.

Bottega Veneta

Esta Primavera-Verano 2011, Tomas Maier nos trae una paleta de colores neutros de gris, beige, blanco y negro lleno de detalles. Mientras que mantiene su esencia chic, nos trae una línea de lujo y cómoda.

 This spring summer 2011, Tomas Maier brings us a neutral color palette of gray, beige, black and white that's full of details. While retaining his chic essence, he brings us a luxurious, comfortable line.

Todos hemos visto alguna vez, The Devil wears Prada (El diablo viste a la moda) y muchos pensaron que bueno sería trabajar ahí, aunque tengamos una Miranda (Meryl Streep) como jefa.
Pero la realidad no está tan lejos de la trama que cuenta esa película.
Les recomiendo a quienes les haya gustado, que vean este documental sobre la Edición de Septiembre de la revista VOGUE USA.


We all have seen The Devil wears Prada and a lot of you thought what a cool thing would be to work there, although we have a Miranda (Meryl Streep) as a boss.
But reality is not so far from what the movie shows.
I recommend to who liked the movie to watch a documentary about the september edition of the magazine VOGUE USA.

Anna Wintour, la legendaria editora desde hace 20 años de la Revista VOGUE, es la figura mas poderosa y popular en moda. Nunca ha permitido a nadie más que ella para tomar decisiones sobre el contenido de su revista.
Cada Agosto una gran cantidad de personas no pueden esperar para tener en sus brazos la nueva edición de Septiembre.

Anna Wintour, the legendary editor, since 20 years ago, of the mag VOGUE, is the most powerful and popular figure of fashion. She has never let anyone but her to take decisions about the content of her magazine.
Each august a bunch of people can't wait to have on their arms the new edition of september.

La edición de 2007 era y sigue siendo la más grande, pesando casi dos kilos, vendiendo trece millones de copias, y afectando la industria de manera global más que cualquier otra sola publicación.

2007 edition was and is the biggest, with a weight of almost 2 kilograms, selling 13 millions of copies and affecting industry in the most global way than any other publication.

El director de esta película nos lleva detrás de cámara durante las sesiones de fotos para la portada de la revista, lanzamientos, desfiles, reuniones entre el personal testimoniando lo difícil y complicado que es seleccionar un buen material, y por supuesto ponerse de acuerdo.
Anna trabaja con Grace Coddington, editora creativa de VOGUE. Grace comenzó su carrera modelando y participando de la revista, para más tarde darse cuenta que su vida no solo era vestirse a la moda si no comunicarla; y parece que es un genio en hacer esto. A pesar de las diferencias y distintas opiniones que tienen ambas, Anna admite lo importante que es Grace para su revista.

The director of this movie takes you to behing the scenes during the photoshoots for the cover of the magazine, catwalks, reunions between the staff whose testimonies talks about how difficult and complicated is to select good material and , of course, to be agree.
Anna works with Grace Coddington, VOGUE's creative editor. Grace started her career modeling and participating of the magazine, then she realized that her life was not just wearing fashion clothes, it was communicating it; and it seems that she is a genious at this. Although of the diferences and the different opinions what both have, Anna admit how important is Grace for her magazine.
