Sesame Street Ensemble | Google Doodle |

We have seen in the past days about the changes in Google logo or commonly called as Google doodle which started from Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie, Oscar the Grouch, Elmo and Count Von Count.
Big bird
I believe this is Google's final doodle as their tribute to the 40th anniversary of the America's longest running television show Sesame Street.

The Sesame Street Google's doodle is really worth compiling. Somehow the occassion really did remind me of my childhood days.Sesame Street is really an entertaining and child-friendly show.

Count Von Count | 6008l3 l Sesame street

Count Von Count, yet another Sesame Street muppet has been featured today by Google as part of their tribute to the 40th anniversary of Sesame Street.

Have you noticed the 600l3? Just guess it. Every Sesame Street fan or viewer knows very well how he counts. Laughing like a dracula on each number he counts is one of his characeristics.

Somehow, Count von Count character is very education for children who watches Sesame Street because it makes counting more fun and enjoyable to them. This may also change children's perception about the scary vampire Count Dracula.

We'll expect a few more Sesame Street muppet as Google's tribute.

Oscar the Grouch | Sesame Street

Inline with the 40th Anniversary of the children tv show Sesame Street here comes another Google doodle. It's Oscar the grouch, the Muppet that lives inside the garbage can. In the previous days, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Bert & Ernie were featured as Google doodle. I'm guessing tomorrow will be Elmo. This must be a series of Google doodle featuring the Sesame Street gang.

Some facts about Oscar the grouch, he loves trash and the proof to this is the song "I love trash" that he always sings. From Wikipedia,

Oscar is named after Oscar Brand, a musician and one of the early board members of the Children's Television Workshop during Sesame Street's development in the late 1960s.

Again, Happy 40th Anniversary to Sesame Street

Bert & Ernie | Sesame Street

Yesterday, Google featured Cookie Monster doodle which really makes me happy. With that post, it reminds of the room mates from the Sesame Street gang which are Bert & Ernie. The fellow are also fun to watch but I don't really like the two,  I'm sorry to kids or say adult like me who used to watch Sesame Street.

Do you also notice Bert & Ernie's color yellow and orange? What can you say or think of? Actually, the two implies Banana and Orange ;). What really annoys me when I watched them before is that they look likes gay to me. Again, sorry to those who likes the two.

I'm not posting here to make fun of the two. One more thing, in Philippines we have a rap-artist named Andrew E. which I think looks like Ernie, the one holding a rubber duck from the photo. Incidentally, Andrew E. has a song Rubber Dickie. Now, it makes me wonder, does E from Andrew E. means Ernie? Btw, if you want to see Andrew rapping, you watch from this post. He's wearing green shirt here.

Fun fact: Do you know that in Cotabato City we have a street named Sesame Street? Well, Cotabato City is really a child friendly city that's why we have a street named after a children show. (Honestly, I don't really know the story behind). Maybe or just maybe, it has been a street where people likes to watch Sesame Street and loves Bert and Ernie. The street is located at De Mazenod Avenue just below the Iglesia ni Cristo church.

Why does Bert have to much eyebrows while Ernie doesn't even have any? Maybe next time I'll be posting about Oscar. Hmm

Cookie Monster | Google doodle

I'm so glad today Google featured my favorite Sesame Street character named Cookie Monster. This is in recognition to Sesame's its 40th anniversary. It reminds of my grade school days when I have to go home early just catch up the afternoon slot of Sesame Street. Though it was even re-scheduled in the morning.

Sesame Street song, "Sunny day, sweeping the clouds away!" now lingers in my head. I also enjoys dubbing his voice until now. "Cookie monster loves to eat to cookie". I also remember his song "I wish the moon is a cookie " or sort of, and he ended the song in dark place because he ate the moon. That's my childhood memories with Cookie Monster.

Good thing Google featured Cookie Monster today. By the way, in some region Big bird was featured by Google.

Rock on Cookie Monster. I hope next time Elmo will be featured too.
