Vincent by Don Mclean Lyrics and Video

Vincent by Don Mclean, one of the greatest hits in 70's. Don Mclean, the singer who popularized the songs American Pie and And I love you so are just few of hits during the era of folk songs. The era when artist like Jim Croce and John Denver was at their peak at mainstream radios.

As I observed, this was also the era when artists compose songs adeptly both music and lyrical content. As compare to music era wherein artists enjoys remaking or covering hits from the past. For me Vincent lyrcis is indeed simple but deep.

In my own opinion, remaking songs was also done way back in 60's to 80's. I guess I have to research more about this though. But as I remember, Carpenters also did the same with their hit song We've only just begun which was originally recorded by Smokey Roberds.

When Love and Hates Collide Taylor Swift & Def Leppard

Yet another Sunday rest day. Here's another glam rock band that I really like way back in high school. Def Leppard's When Love and Hates Collide, one of their popular songs. But wait there's more! Taylor Swift joined the band in a live performance. Cool isn't it? Imagine a famous band way back in late 80's to early 90's will be jamming with one of the hottest country artist who was unfortunate to experience a protest from Kanye West when she was about to receive her award in MTV Awards last year. There was also an issue from that Taylor Swift dead spreads over the Internet last year.

Based from comments of this video from Youtbe, some likes it some does not. Why? Well, for an avid fans of Def Leppard they sure like to see them being appreciate more than Taylor Swift. Like this comments :

u didnt put Def leppard in the title.... WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU ITS THERE DAMN SONG!!!!!!! NOT THAT DUMB B**** TAYLOR SWIFT!!!!

As for Taylor Swift's fans, it's way cool because she gave out another lively performance and explored into another music genre. Of course they wouldn't acknowledge Def Leppard that much because they're quite old and haven't seen them when they were at their peak of their career.

Remember Back Dorm Boys?

I just feel like posting these videos. Back in 2006 I guess, when these two or I should make it three instead including the guy who always play games behind the two main performer was really hot. We would always watch their videos and check for new one. I consider this group as sample of people who became famous at Youtbe ;). In fact they have an entry to Wikipedia.

According to Wikipedia, Back Dorm Boys (BDB) gained media attention not just in their own homeland China but also in United States' popular tv show The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

On the other hand, there is also a duo group in Philippines named Moymoy Palaboy ;) who became famous just like BDB.
