Amy Winehouse's Last Recording Before She Died: She performed a duet with 85 year old Tony Bennett
Tony Bennett with Amy Winehouse and her dad
Tony Bennett recorded a duet album and Amy Winehouse at Abbey Recording Studio in London. This was the last recording that Ms Winehouse had done before she died at the age of 27. Tony Bennett described her as one of the finest Jazz singers of all time. She was a true talent and is in ranks with Ella Fitzgerald. If only Amy knew how talented she was. This is a sample of the duet that Bennett did with Winehouse. The album comes out on September 21, but the single with Ms Winehouse is released earlier. All of the proceeds from the single will go to Amy's charity to help people with drug and alcohol addiction.
