Jerry Lewis is No Longer Hosting Labor Day Telethon: Actor did it for 45 years

The Labor Day telethon for Muscular Dystrophy  has been around since 1966 and Mr. Lewis has been the host ever since. The show originally aired on WNEW-TV in 1966-67 and became syndicated from 1968 to the present.  The shows opening theme is, Smile by Charlie Chaplin and closing song is You'll Never Walk Alone.by Rodgers and Hammerstein. The actor, comedian is 85 years old and has done a wonderful job.
