Jessica Alba Facebook Baby Announcement: Is this a marketing tool or a friendly way of making a baby announcement?

Jessica Alba had placed an announcement on her Facebook page to announce the birth of her baby girl who was named Haven.  It is hard to believe that immediately following the birth of a child that any mother would immediately use the computer to make an announcement.  Too many celebrities are making baby announcements but is it really them who is doing it?  What do you think?
