Jackie Kennedy Audio Tapes: What she wanted preserved for history

Jacqueline Kennedy Historic Conversations book and audio CD  were produced and published by Hyperion  Press.  It includes  a 7 CD set  of  audio tapes that were done 50 years ago.  Jackie Kennedy started to do the interviews with Arthur Schlesinger just 4 months after President Kennedy died.  Daughter, Caroline Kennedy thought that it was time to release the tapes.  It can be purchased for 60 dollars. 

This is a preview of what will air on ABC on September 13th.  The show will be hosted by Diane Sawyer. ABC will broadcast some of  the audio tapes of Jackie O that were done more than 50 years ago.  Jacqueline had died in 1994 from cancer at the age of 64 in New York City.
